Description

Product Description:
VR simulations for high-risk events in the OR including surgical fires, malignant hyperthermia, PASS/RACE, and OR codes.
About Health Scholars:

The best training isn’t read or watched. It’s experienced. At Health Scholars we're preparing caregivers to deliver the very best care on the worst day(s) of someone's life. Using virtual reality simulation we deliver clinical experience, specifically protocol-based training and competency assessment for high-risk scenarios. Using voice technology, clinicians interact with virtual teams and patients to practice standards of care, communication, teamwork, decision-making, and critical thinking. Educators can assess clinician competency and leverage detailed analytics to identify skills gaps and optimize additional training to mitigate risks and help prevent costly sentinel events. Founded by ED physician Dr. Brian Gillett and led by health-tech veteran Scott Johnson, Health Scholars is making healthcare safer with more efficient and effective VR training.

Product Description:

Realistic, lifelike experiences recreate what orthopedic surgeons face in the real-world OR. Proven educational principles combined with virtual medical education speed the attainment of surgical mastery.

Current orthopedic training programs are unable to keep up with the rapid introduction of new technologies, the trend toward competency-based resident training and the increasing cost burden of traditional surgical training. The use of VR technology complements existing bioskills training, addresses the gaps created by fractionated exposure and uniquely combines contextual learning and technical skills acquisition. VR technology and virtual medical education can also help practicing surgeons maintain and upgrade their skills and expand the capabilities of their current practices.

About PrecisionOS Technologies:
PrecisionOS Technologies provides scale training, reduces cost, and speeds up the adoption of new implants and procedures by offering vr learning in medical device companies. In addition to surgeons, their sales representatives benefit from precision training by helping them gain confidence and expert knowledge of the devices, instruments, and procedures.
