Description

Product Description:

From radiologists to cardiologists; neurologists to anesthetists – medical professionals around the world are opting to carry out minimally-invasive interventional procedures. The reason? A smaller entry wound and less invasive surgery leads to faster recovery times, and ultimately, better patient outcomes.

However, even though visualization, control and imaging technologies continue to evolve, current options fall short of open procedures. Moreover, having many different data sources to review during each procedure adds further complexity.

About SentiAR:
SentiAR is digital health, software device company adding a new dimension to clinical practice in interventional procedures. Spun out of Washington University, we are developing the first 3D visualization platform using real-time holography of the patient's anatomy and catheter location, ''floating'' over the patients, with a goal to provide the clinician and patient a faster, safer delivery of care. SentiAR’s mission is to transform the experience for both patient and clinician in interventional procedures with a 3D augmented reality platform featuring real-time holographic visualization of the patient’s actual anatomy, “floating” over the patient. The visualization is fully controllable “hands-free” by the clinician, providing an ergonomic breakthrough for the treatment and analysis of cardiac arrhythmias within an interventional catheter lab environment. SentiAR is developing the platform for eventual FDA submission.
Product Description:
ImmersiveView™ VR converts CT, CBCT, 3D angiography and MRI scans into a 'digital twin' of the patient and provides a completely unique and unobstructed view of the case in virtual reality. No longer limited to certain angles of view, doctors can easily view the target anatomy, clearly and accurately, just as it exists in reality. Physicians handle the scan as if it were a physical object in the palm of their hand, observing from every angle to get the very best understanding of the situation, even flying into the anatomy to take a closer look. ImmersiveView™ VR provides unprecedented clarity in patient scans and is simple and intuitive to use. The platform is ideal for viewing critical scan information in all areas of the hospital: Radiology labs, ORs, ERs, and doctors’ offices.
About ImmersiveTouch:
ImmersiveTouch® provides cutting-edge AR/VR surgical technology and training solutions to medical professionals and the healthcare industry. Founded in 2005, ImmersiveTouch combines innovative R&D and strong academic partnerships to promote world-class medical education and patient safety. Their company’s comprehensive education solutions include next generation surgical simulators and learning management systems. These can be found in leading medical centers around the world, including Johns Hopkins, the University of Calgary, and the University of Chicago. Their simulators immerse surgeons in a 3D operating environment where they can practice complicated procedures on their patients by loading CT/MRI scans of the patient into the simulator. ImmersiveTouch’s patented haptic technology allows resident students to touch and feel the 3D anatomy, which allows students to perfect their surgical skills. ImmersiveTouch’s mission is to provide surgeons with patient specific medical solutions, provide educators with training solutions, and continually advance haptic technology.
