Since launching in 2014, Maven has served tens of thousands of patients through its highly-vetted network of 2,000+ practitioners. Patients can book video appointments or send messages to a wide range of maternity and women’s health practitioners, including OB-GYNs, doulas, midwives, mental health therapists, nutritionists, and more to complement/supplement the care on the ground. These practitioners are available to offer advice and write prescriptions around the clock, including nights and weekends. Maven operates an on-demand consumer marketplace in addition to its global family benefits platform, Maven Maternity. Deployed at top companies and health plans across the US, Maven Maternity offers a unique clinical program that supports new parents from preconception through pregnancy, postpartum, and the transition back to work.

Telemedicine and in-app resources with up-to-date COVID-19 information. Virtual prenatal and postpartum visits.
In March 2020, Maven launch COVID-19 telemedicine support for Mass Health (the Massachusetts, Medicaid and the Children's Health Insurance Program) to provide support for 2M commercial and Medicaid members. MassHealth will provide free telemedicine appointments for members with COVID-19 symptoms with Maven's network of obstetric/gynecologists, maternal fetal medicine specialist, pediatricians, family physicians, and general practitioners for women and families in Massachusetts. MassHealth members will be connected through an online navigation tool to Maven providers through on-demand chat and video appointments 24 hours a day through the use of any web-enabled device.
Pediatric use cases:
Telemedicine support up through when the child is 1 year old.
As of Q4 2020, new pediatric/parenting product will extend telemedicine support up through age 5.
Users are women and partners on their pregnancy journey, as well as postpartum and early pediatrics through 1 year old.
