Sonde One

Developed by a team of scientists out of MIT, the Sonde One app is a voice-based technology platform that can sense changes in a speaker’s voice that point to early signs of respiratory illness. These health changes have been validated using over 1 million voice samples worldwide, making Sonde One a powerful, reliable, and accessible return-to-work decision making tool. The app uses just 6 seconds of voice combined with a CDC informed questionnaire to create a fast and minimally invasive COVID-19 detection and monitoring tool for employers. The entire assessment can be completed in under a minute on any smart phone and on a daily basis, if necessary. Employees can be told to stay at home and given further, fully customizable instructions after receiving a non-passing result from the app. We believe that Sonde One is the only return-to-work screening tool that has a truly objective component in its voice analysis for respiratory symptoms.
