Description

Product Description:
Primary care physicians miss 90% of their patients’ behavioral health needs because they lack the time, training and tools. Untreated behavioral health adds $560 to the monthly cost of care for each patient with a chronic illness. The problem is especially acute in Medicaid where 40% of patients are at risk.Total US extra cost of comorbid behavioral health is estimated at $600 billion, and research shows significant savings with integrated care. Therefore, CMS is anxious to increase behavioral health care in federally qualified healthcare centers (FQHCs). So, it recently offered $350M in supplemental funding to add therapists and associated infrastructure. We give providers the additional support they need to deliver integrated care and achieve the desired savings and improved outcomes with increasing revenues.
About PSYCHeANALYTICS:
PSYCHeANALYTICS is the only company giving primary care physicians a whole-patient snapshot of psychological, psychiatric, and social barriers to wellness and suggesting relevant treatment plans for Whole Person Care. We integrate with the clinic’s EHR, assess all important behavioral health conditions, provide decision support during the visit to help physicians manage workflow, and are there to help clients expand their behavioral health capabilities. Our patient database is an excellent resource for outcomes research and clinical trials.
Product Description:

About Array Behavioral Care:

Who we are

Array Behavioral Care is a virtual psychiatry and therapy practice that was founded by clinicians more than 23 years ago. We employ and closely manage a large team of licensed psychiatrists, therapists, and behavioral health specialists who use evidence-based assessment tools and treatment protocols to provide high-quality, standardized care. Our clinicians are supported by administrative and technical teams and overseen by engaged, experienced clinical leaders ensuring they deliver care that is effective, safe, and clinically appropriate.

What we’re not

We are not a technology platform, a network of 1099 contracted providers, or an Uber-like model where clinicians work gigs. We are not a staffing company or a locums tenens group, and our utility extends beyond simple clinician capacity. The impact of our programs is tangible, and we can predict with confidence what metrics will be improved.

How we got here

Array was born out of a bricks-and-mortar behavioral health practice in southern New Jersey that still exists today. In 1999, Founder and current Executive Chief Medical Officer, Dr. James R. Varrell, provided the nation’s first commitment via telepsychiatry. After that first encounter, we started using telehealth to deliver psychiatry coverage to local hospitals. Our telepsychiatry service offerings quickly grew into new care settings and new states. While we now have a national scope, we’re still a closely managed practice and the only one delivering virtual behavioral health services across the entire continuum of care.

Differentiators

Differentiators vs EHR Functionality:
The status quo isn't working for many institutions investing in more behavioral health resources. Behavioral Health staff is underutilized, and their calendars are clogged with unnecessary referrals. Meanwhile, patients who could use their help more don't come forward and their PCP doesn't probe into non-medical concerns. We have a rigorous triage system that prompts PCPs to make more appropriate referrals for more patients. We facilitate the "warm handoff" by sharing our reports with the on-duty BH provider, and our process educates patients about the mind-body connection, reducing stigma and increasing appointment reliability. This reduces the need for overbooking. appointments in the behavioral health clinic.
Differentiators vs Competitors:
There have been many behavioral health screening instruments on the market for use in medical clinics, for DIY self-care and employee wellness programs. Numerous screeners are in the public domain. The clinician must combine many screeners to get a picture of the whole patient. The PHQ- 9 screening tool for depression is built into most EHRs. Besides identifying potential candidates for integrated medical and mental care, these screeners are a huge productivity killer for providers. The medical staff bears the burden of analysis and interpretation, but they have neither time nor training to be comfortable in that role. Worse yet, the interpretation often requires additional patient history, further reducing productivity and increasing uncertainty, which leads to more unproductive BH referrals.
