Who we are 

Array Behavioral Care is a virtual psychiatry and therapy practice that was founded by clinicians more than 23 years ago. We employ and closely manage a large team of licensed psychiatrists, therapists, and behavioral health specialists who use evidence-based assessment tools and treatment protocols to provide high-quality, standardized care. Our clinicians are supported by administrative and technical teams and overseen by engaged, experienced clinical leaders ensuring they deliver care that is effective, safe, and clinically appropriate. 

What we’re not 

We are not a technology platform, a network of 1099 contracted providers, or an Uber-like model where clinicians work gigs. We are not a staffing company or a locums tenens group, and our utility extends beyond simple clinician capacity. The impact of our programs is tangible, and we can predict with confidence what metrics will be improved. 

How we got here 

Array was born out of a bricks-and-mortar behavioral health practice in southern New Jersey that still exists today. In 1999, Founder and current Executive Chief Medical Officer, Dr. James R. Varrell, provided the nation’s first commitment via telepsychiatry. After that first encounter, we started using telehealth to deliver psychiatry coverage to local hospitals. Our telepsychiatry service offerings quickly grew into new care settings and new states. While we now have a national scope, we’re still a closely managed practice and the only one delivering virtual behavioral health services across the entire continuum of care.

Our goal is to continually find and implement creative technology solutions to provide better care, improving health and wellbeing outcomes for individuals and communities.

eTransX’s flagship system for community well-being is the Wellbeing Care Community system (WCC) designed to help communities thrive, prosper, and flourish. The WCC system is a shared community prosperity empowerment platform will allow a community to more effectively engage with families, family support networks, volunteers and peers, community stakeholders, and community based organizations that provide key services for promoting prospering, flourishing, and thriving. This platform is used to collect and share real time data that can inform the effort and support the generation of actionable intelligence for decision making. The system is also used to make and manage service requests and referrals – and in the process – close the loop on those requests and referrals. The system serves as a community command center where “the right hand knows what the left hand is doing.” Such a system can also be used to connect with existing systems to share data – to minimize the need to enter data multiple times and reduce errors in data entry.
